COVID-19 Prevention Policy
Dear Republic Trend Customers,
We’re monitoring the impact of the COVID-19 corona virus around the world and specifically in the United States. We're all together in this, and we will prevail :)
As the current pandemic situation with COVID-19 evolves day-to-day, our top priority during these challenging times continues to be the health and safety of our co-workers, customers and communities.
We are not just responding to the virus impact in one or two ways, but in many different ways:
- Our staff and volunteers have visited various areas throughout the lockdown and have provided much needed refreshments for 16,000 front line workers.
- We have joined with other organisations to create hibernation packages for local people who are vulnerable and we are working with schools to locate and deliver food parcels to local families who are facing shortages.
- We are delivering a drop-in window takeaway service for people who are homeless.
We will not retreat at this time but will be there at the front line to help people who need our help more than ever.
We will do whatever we can to support the most affected, the most marginalised and the most isolated people.
All employees have been trained on proper hand washing protocol, work areas are cleaned prior to shipping each package and all employees wear vinyl gloves when packaging orders.
At Republic Trend, taking care of both the community and our employees is important to us, all Republic Trend employees are provided with health insurance and every employee is being paid their full salary during this time.
Please note that carriers such as USPS, FedEx, and UPS have announced delays in their service as well.
